Five Forms of Text

1. Text messages are one of the most commonly used forms of text in this day in age I believe. Everyone I know from my grandma to my 11 year old cousin use text messages to communicate with other people. Its a quick way to communicate.

2. Billboards are also an effective form of text. As we drive down the highway people are using text and images to grab our attention to buy their product or to stop by their place of business to buy something. 

3. Books are the most known form of text. If you can read its because you practiced reading children books when you were a kid most likely. Books are a good source way to show that text can be a source entertainment. 

4. Newspapers get read everyday. They can either be in print form or online so that shows that newspapers can be in two different forms of text. Usually the older age people that are used to newspapers read them in print it seems, but our generation seems to look more online for their news. 

5. Directions are a form of text. When you ask someone for directions they write down how you get somewhere. If you don't know where you're going this is a useful form of text that you will read often.
