Key Point Summary: There will always be new textual technologies.
We live in a society where things are always evolving so we try to do the same
when it comes to books, technology, text, and so much more. The truth is that
books evolved from the bottom up and the press worked very hard to make sure
that text technologies were successful in every way.
Key Point Summary: There were many companies that helped America
get to where they are today in regards to the text technology aspect. Companies
such as the American Library association, NASA, Microsoft, and much more has
helped today’s society to become successful in the form of text technologies.
Key Point Summary: There are many reasons why books remain a
classic piece of art. Back in the 1800’s, it was well very much cheaper to keep
books as physical as possible. The common knowledge of the craft and industry of
the press made new textual technologies easier to maneuver while it was on the
come up to becoming the new era of today’s society.
Comment: The new textual technologies of today’s society is shocking
me more and more each day. When I hear about all the new technology that is happening
from day to day really makes me thinks what is going to happen 10 or 20 years
from now? Sometimes I honestly get scared because I wonder what crazy
technology is going to come out with next. Needless to say, there are
some very intelligent companies out there making these new textual technologies
worthwhile.
Question: Why did companies such as NASA, the American Library
Association, Microsoft, etc have a big impact on the textual technologies of today’s
society? Was there some type of agreement or contact signed that forced these companies
to participate in this act?
